We have decided to use a practical demonstration – a Mediterranean herb garden – to present the advantages of our area and at the same time bring variety to a specific part of the countryside around the city of Koper. Through the creation of the Mediterranean herb garden we are contributing to the conservation of cultural and natural heritage and to regulating and beautifying the environment. The nascent country herb garden is a good basis for attracting visitors to the Istrian hinterland. The garden lies at a height of 100 metres above sea level and offers visitors a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside. Our target group includes schoolchildren, students, young families, domestic and foreign tourists and travel agencies.
