Dinner in a cable car is not just an innovative tourist product, but also an example of an innovative business model. It combines a unique sales approach, the use of web technology and a modern approach to communicating with guests.

In the first year alone, over 1,000 people experienced a cable car dinner. The three partners share the costs of the project, whose financial performance has been positive. The launch of the project required extensive marketing and start-up funds, which have already been repaid. The project partners are not involved in the project for direct financial gain, but rather to enhance their promotional prospects and benefit from the partnership. Even outside the main season, the partners have managed to gain the attention of all of Slovenia, directing it to Cerklje na Gorenjskem, Krvavec, Gostilna Krištof, and Jezeršek Catering.

Dinner in a cable car is suitable for individuals or private groups and as such also an attractive idea for tourists.

The event is an important addition to the range of unforgettable tourist experiences available in Slovenia, uncovering Slovenia's culinary delights and natural beauty. We assess that, given its results thus far, the project deserves to win the 2014 Sejalec Award.
