The following idea was submitted to the Snovalec 2011 call, a national competition for most promising tourism ideas in Slovenia that are brought to life by the help of Slovenian Tourist Board and the Ministry of Economy. Out of 73 submitted ideas it was chosen as one of the 12 most promising.

What is Slovenia Medical?
Under the umbrella brand "Slovenia Medical", there are centres of excellence of medical services in Slovenia combined:

We are jointly offering patients a simple and quality way to solve their health problems: high-quality medical services in the fields of diagnosis and detection, surgery, treatment, and rehabilitation. Our common goal is the promotion of excellent and high-quality medical services and programmes we provide, focusing on points of differentiation.
Provision of medical services in Slovenia is safe due to the fact that Slovenia is a safe country in the middle of Europe, and our physicians are recognized worldwide. Their knowledge is acquired in cooperation with medical institutions around the world. Slovenian medical centres are equipped with the up-to-date medical equipment, the approach to the patients is individual in terms of treatment procedures and as regards the specific treatment of the various specialists, team approach is ensured. Therefore, we are achieving optimal results.
After the surgery, we are offering a high standard of rehabilitation. Slovenia has excellent natural conditions with proven medicinal effects that are put to good use by helping with the treatment of certain illnesses.
